Turtle Beach Ear Force P11 Review

Turtle Beach has been making quality gaming headsets for quite a while now. The P11 is another reason why Turtle Beach is one of world’s leading gaming peripheral company.  The Ear Force P11 integrates premium stereo game sound while also delivering crystal clear communication. They create an immersive audio environment for any game that you indulge in. The P11 is like two headsets in one-both a stereo USB headset and an amplified stereo headset for gaming.  Independently controlled game volume and chat volume to provide balance and control. Now is a great time to take a closer look at the Turtle Beach Ear Force P11’s.

The P11 include large, comfortable ear cups that are both light weight and rugged, this provides long lasting comfort and extended game play. When I first tried on the P11's I was amazed by how well they fit my head, and comfortably too. The P11’s are made of plastic but when handled they do not have a plastic feel to them at all. They are quality made and durable as well.  With the 50mm speakers, this headset will fit the ears of most people. The ear cups on the P11 are significantly larger than other Turtle Beach headsets. This headset also includes padding for your head to endure those long gaming sessions.

One thing I like about the Turtle Beach P11’s is it features a nice highly adjustable boom mic. This microphone can be adjusted in about every way possible, sound quality from both ends is also superb as well. I completed several sound checks and everything seemed to be A ok.

The sound introduced by the Ear Force P11’s were surprisingly good for a stereo headset. When playing games like Call of Duty and Battlefield, I could hear footsteps of enemies from a good distance away. This is a great headset for gaming and will definitely provide you with the advantage over those who don’t experience the power of headset gaming.

With the option to change both the mic and game volume separately is a great feature, this will allow you to properly adjust your mic and game volume levels at any time. This headset also features a mic mute switch to turn of the operation of the mic if you don’t need to use it. The back side of the volume control box includes a clip to be able to strap it to things.

Another cool feature that the P11’s provide is the ‘echo’ feature, which is how I would describe it. Dont be alarmed by the way this is going, the echo feature plays back your voice to keep you aware of the fact if you’re talking too loud during game play. This is actually quite useful and not annoying at all, so don’t worry.
